Welcome to the YECA Comic Book Project Page.  In just six one hour classes, the students of York Early College Academy (YECA) made 15 comic books using the Columbia Teacher's College Comic Book Project format.

African American Comic Books/Artists
African-American artists and characters have often been overlooked in the official history of comics. What happens when you can't see any superheroes that look like you? That's what these artists and experts asked themselves, so they started their own comics.
